Volunteers

Would you like to volunteer?

We are always looking for more help. Our organization consists of three main groups:

  • Firefighters/Responders - These are the people who jump in the vehicles and head out to an incident. They train regularly (twice a month) to be efficient and safe. This also includes the officers of the fire teams (Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, etc)

  • Board Members - The board protects the constituents interests. This includes providing funding and direction to the Fire Chief and making decisions on behalf of the constituents.

  • Supporting roles - There are many opportunities for supporting roles. We are always looking for help, so if you have a skill you are willing to donate to the cause, please contact us.

What do Volunteers get?

First off, they get the communities gratitude. That might not seem like much, but it is a good feeling when we are able to show up and make a difference. Also, providing instruction and helping the community make their spaces safer from wildfire incidents helps make the departments jobs easier.

If you are an active volunteer the department will waive your yearly subscription.
