At the 2024 Annual Meeting on April 27, 2024, the room was packed and the issue of the taxation district was discussed at length.  Many questions were asked and answered.

Need Reasons to vote YES for the tax levy for the Robie Creek Volunteer Fire Protection District on May 21?

Did you know...

... fire department volunteers are trained in basic first aid and provide life saving efforts while waiting for paramedics or life flight responders? Every minute counts when it comes to fire response and life saving efforts!

... that a fire taxation district will fund a full time Fire Chief committed to recruiting additional well trained volunteers living within the district and dedicated to helping fight fires and save lives?

... a full time Fire Chief will collaborate with other fire districts to search for upgraded fire equipment and training programs to ensure our community has well prepared and trained volunteers?

... in many states insurance companies are using any excuse possible to increase premium costs and even cancel homeowners polices in areas considered a fire risk? Let's create a fire taxation district lead by a Fire Chief with well equipped and trained personnel able to dissuade unjustified actions by insurance companies!

... that volunteers must go through 100-200 hours of initial training and as much as 120 hours or more of annual training to maintain the skills for firefighting, vehicle extrication, technical rescue (ie: water, rope), etc.
