Boise County now offers the AlertSense Service for Reverse 911 calls. This is a replacement for the previous CodeRED service. If you signed up for CodeRED, you will need to signup again with the new service. If you sign up it will help them notify you if there is an incident in your area that may require evacuation. Signing up is voluntary, and highly recommended.

The Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) is the government entity that allocates burn permits, which are required from 10 May to 20 Oct in Idaho. They can be requested here. Keep in mind, Boise County has a burn ban during the summer months, even if you have a burn permit from IDL.
NOTE: Due to the Valley Fire and high risk Fire conditions, IDL will not be issuing permits at this time (as of 10/118/2024). See IDL press release on The News page: https://www.robiecreek.org/home/the-news#h.n0hahd2ohcdv
