Proposed Budget for
Robie Creek Fire Protection District

In the document below you will see the initial budgets proposed by the committee that met over the past year.  Our original understanding was that the final budget would be determined after the levy vote, however, the county made us aware of the law in Idaho code 63-802c, which requires a final budget value to be selected prior to the election.  As such, the board decided that in order to be best enabled to meet the goals to rejuvenate the department, the higher budget proposal would be the best decision.  Therefore, it was decided to go with the $220,000 option.  An explanation of each line item is shown on page 2.

For the $180,000 budget, LEVY Rate at 2023 Values = $91.70 per $100k

For the $220,000 budget, LEVY Rate at 2023 Values = $111.09 per $100k

Keep in mind these taxable amounts are levied after all eligible deductions are considered (such as homeowners, forest land exemptions, etc.)
